Ryan Fraser: New Aberdeen deal still not signed

The highly-rated 18-year-old has been attracting interest from south of the border, with Manchester United and Swansea both reported to have scouted him in recent weeks.

With his current deal due to expire at the end of the season, the Dons are working hard on a new contract.

"Talks are still progressing and I am hopeful there will be a positive outcome," Brown said.

"Our chief executive Duncan Fraser has a lot of SPL meetings at the moment but I'm relaxed about the situation.

"Ryan's making headlines due to his performances but I don't mind that. I'd rather he continued to do well rather than played badly and we got him cheaper."
