Peter Pawlett: Did well on loan at St Johnstone

Pawlett spent most of the first half of the campaign with the Perth club and won a regular start after recovering from injury.

Brown recalled the 21-year-old winger this week after Ryan Fraser's switch to Bournemouth, and he is in contention for a place in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League visit of Hibernian on Sunday.

Brown told the club's official website: "I am constantly asked about new signings but we genuinely feel we have quality here on the staff, but that does not prevent us from trying to enhance the playing quality.

"The disappointing departure of Ryan Fraser has prompted us to recall Peter Pawlett from his successful loan spell at St Johnstone, but I spoke with Peter and in all sincerity indicated to him that whether or not Ryan had left he was being invited back to help us have a resoundingly productive end to the season.

"We'll need all hands on deck and Peter Pawlett is a talented young man who proved that in his games for the Perth side."
