The Cherries lost 6-1 at Watford a fortnight ago and Huddersfield, inspired by a James Vaughan hat-trick, beat them 5-1 at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

But Howe refused to press the panic button and said: "We like to play good football and there will be no change whether we win, lose or draw.

"This style suits the players we have and this is the only way we want to play. We just have to be better at what we do."

Vaughan scored his hat-trick inside 21 minutes either side of the break and now has seven goals in five matches.

Adam Hammill started the rout with the opening goal, an individual effort which went in off the post.

He then chipped into the box for Vaughan to plant a flying header into the far corner before Martin Paterson sent the striker racing free to slot home to make it 3-0 before half-time.

Vaughan slammed in a penalty for his treble after Jake Carroll was tripped by Simon Francis before substitute Marc Pugh grabbed a Bournemouth consolation.

Adam Clayton then smashed home a 25-yard effort to leave Bournemouth reeling.

Howe said: "We reacted well to the defeat at Watford and we have very honest players and they will be hurting after that.

"We showed last season we could get results and keep clean sheets away from home and that's what we must do. We were just unlucky to come up against a striker as lethal as James Vaughan is at the moment."

Huddersfield boss Mark Robins was delighted with his side's five-star show and said: "We have beaten a good team.

"I know it is easy to say that but Bournemouth play good football and caused us problems.

"Eddie is a bright young manager and Bournemouth were a threat. It was a good day for us."

Robins also hailed Vaughan's hot scoring streak, adding: "As a striker I can empathise with how he's feeling.

"He is loving it right now and deserves all the success. He is working very hard and concentrating on his game and he is getting his due rewards."

Robins has changed how the Terriers play and his new passing style is starting to win over the doubters.

"It's interesting to listen to the fans," said Robins. "At times they need to be patient but they can see what we are trying to do."

All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
