Chamakh: Toe problem

The Morocco international returned with the injury from the Africa Cup of Nations this week, but played in a reserve fixture against Norwich City on Tuesday.

However, Chamakh was substituted during the first half at Carrow Road and Gunners reserve team coach Neil Banfield admits the player aggravated the problem.

Banfield said: "Marouane had a bad toe coming into this one. To be fair to him he wanted to give it a go but he could only last for half an hour and he had to come off.

"Marouane will be all right, it is just a bad toe I think at the moment."

Damn who is going to warm the bench now
