Bacary Sagna: Urging Arsenal to find a more clinical approach to games

The Gunners are in the midst of a pre-Christmas slump - losing at Olympiakos in the Champions League and at home to Swansea in the preceding Premier League clash.

Without a win in four, Arsene Wenger finds himself under renewed pressure at the head of affairs - but France star Sagna maintains that the players need to help out by becoming more ruthless.

"We just need to be wiser. We have had the opportunity to win games, and for some reason we don't," Sagna told Arsenal Player.

"We need to work on it. We need to stay focused on the pitch and we need to work harder during training sessions. If we do that everything will be fine. I don't worry about it.

"Everyone is good in the Premier League. Everyone can beat everyone. The top teams are the most consistent ones.

"They just go game by game and want to take points. We have to step up and show the opposition who is on top. We've made some mistakes in the past and now we want to impose ourselves on our season."

Arsenal travel to The Hawthorns to face this season's surprise package West Brom on Saturday, and will start the game five points and five places below their hosts.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
