Gunners have £123m in kitty

Arsenal have announced a £17.8m profit in the club's latest half-yearly results, giving them an increased figure of £123.3m in cash reserves.

@dirty verbals: The article states the size of the kitty. It does not state that the Board has sanctioned Wenger the complete kitty for transfer activity. One they publicly come out saying they will spend X amount and then if wenger fails to spend, blame him! Am sick of the stick Wenger gets when its the Boards's refusal to loosen the purse strings that is the real problem. Don't be under any illusion that we will get a big name coach in wenger's place when there is no money to spend.
