Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has warned Thomas Vermaelen he cannot expect to be the first name on the team-sheet simply because he is captain.

Arsenals problem is defence and Vermaelen has been very poor this season, where is the guy that was defending well and driving from the back - where are the goals he scored in his first season. As Captain he should be setting an example.
