Nicklas Bendtner: Striker expects to leave Arsenal in the next two weeks

Bendtner has not made a first-team appearance for Arsenal since August 2011 and has spent the past two seasons on loan at Sunderland and Juventus respectively.

He endured a difficult past campaign with Italian champions Juventus, and now finally appears to set to leave Arsenal permanently.

The Denmark international has confirmed the Gunners have agreed to let him go and he is now deciding which club to join.

"I am talking with five or six clubs at the moment over a permanent transfer," Bendtner is quoted in the Metro.

"Things are agreed with Arsenal and I will decide which club I sign for in the next two weeks."

Bendtner has scored 43 goals in 157 appearances for Arsenal, but was never able to establish himself in the starting line-up before his loan moves.

Turkish outfit Besiktas have been linked with a bid for the 25-year-old, while reports claim clubs in France, Germany, Holland and Portugal have shown an interest.

may well get slated by other United fans for this, but out of the three contenders, I'd far prefer Liverpool to win the title. However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.

'Tactically Inept And Lacking In Belief And Style'

It's fair to say that the 'Moyes Out' brigade is understandably out in force, whilst there are also staunch defences of Mourinho and Arteta. Plus, Liverpool fans can almost taste it.
