Gervinho flattered by interest

Arsenal winger Gervinho has admitted he is flattered to be linked with Marseille as his future in England continues to be subject to speculation.

The 26-year-old has failed to make much of an impact since his move from Lille back in 2011, and bore the brunt of the fans frustrations last season.

However, that has not deterred Marseille, who will compete in the UEFA Champions League next season, and along with Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray they are reportedly interested in giving Gervinho another chance.

"If I want to leave Arsenal, there will be plenty of takers, Marseille being one," Gervinho told Ivory Coast newspaper Le Patriote.

"They are a big club, I can say yes or no, but it is always flattering to see teams interested in you."
