The 22-year-old Al-Ain winger, who is also known as Amoory, is regarded as one the best players to ever emerge from Asia and has been a long-term target for English clubs in the past.

Abdulrahman enjoyed a trial at Manchester City in 2012 and impressed during his stint at the Etihad Stadium, but a deal broke down due to work permit issues.

Arsenal also expressed an interest in taking Abdulrahman on trial last August, but the club rejected the offer as they claimed they would only consider serious offers for the skilful wide-man.

Abdulrahman has just one year to run on his contract at Al-Ain and the news has alerted a host of clubs across Europe to his possible availability.

The likes of Everton, Southampton, Celtic, Roma and Lille are all thought to be admirers of Abdulrahman and are keeping tabs on his situation.

e'll be fine, no problem. If they do get relegated, he's definitely going to ask how anyone could ever have thought that Villa were going to be fine given their problems before he came.

toke though. Hmn. I don't think it was defending that made people dislike Stoke so much as the out and out cheating/nastiness they regularly displayed. That, and they kept buying the odd flair player and then ruining them (Oh! Tuncay, what were you thinking?).
