Agbonlahor believes Villa will approach the games, starting with Saturday evening's home encounter with Manchester United, full of confidence after his winner at Sunderland over the weekend.

The striker said: "It was the ideal way to start the month because, if we didn't get the result on Saturday, then it would have put us under more pressure.

"We didn't want to leave there without a win because of the schedule we've got coming up.

"We've got some really tough games. It's hard, but there are upsets in football and we'll be hoping to cause one.

"We know it's going to be tough but we've got the team spirit and the hard work and hopefully we can get something out of these games."
