Brad Guzan: Players will keep on working hard

Villa go into Saturday's Premier League clash at home to fellow strugglers Wigan on the back of a 4-0 defeat at home to Tottenham, which came three days after an 8-0 thumping at Chelsea.

Lambert's side are three points better off than third-bottom Wigan and Guzan wants the team to bounce back from the recent setbacks.

He said on the club website: "It's (the Tottenham loss) not the result we wanted but we have to keep pressing forward.

"It's a bump in the road, but it doesn't throw us off the track. We know what we're trying to do here.

"We're still confident as a team and as individuals and confident about where the manager and his coaching staff are taking us. We keep looking forward and moving together and sticking together."
