There were hugely contrasting emotions for the under-fire manager, having to settle for a point after seeing his players hit back from conceding early on to lead with five minutes left, only for Danny Graham to equalise in stoppage time.

"It's very disappointing," Lambert said. "But the effort was fantastic. We were right on the ropes in the first 20 minutes and Swansea had some great chances.

"We hung on though which was great. We got a good equaliser at the end of the first half and after the break we looked very threatening.

"We should have seen it through though, but it was a good point. Every credit to the way Swansea played but we weathered the storm.

"We regrouped at half-time, I said a couple of things and they came out really strong. It's never an easy place to come - it's a huge point."
