Charles N'Zogbia: Praise from Villa team-mate Ashley Westwood

Villa are hoping for a rise up the table in the coming weeks, currently sitting 17th with fixtures against Arsenal, both Manchester sides and Chelsea still to come.

And Westwood says the impact of N'Zogbia and his attacking flair has been vital for Paul Lambert's men.

"I have been really impressed with Charles," said Westwood.

"You just give him the ball and even if he's got four men around him, you know he's going to do something.

"He has a special talent. He glides across the turf and bursts past people as if they're not there.

"It's something I wish I could do. He does it with ease. It's great to have him. He's been superb these past few weeks and long may that form continue.

"It's easy for me playing with him. You see Charles in the hole in front of you and he demands the ball, he wants the ball.

"Even when he has men around him, you give it to him and you know he will keep it.

"His impact has been superb. He's been a big player for us and he will be a big player for us between now and the end of the season."
