Wilson, who secured his first win at the weekend since returning to the club as manager, has already brought in Stoke winger Brek Shea and Liverpool right-back Ryan McLaughlin on loan, while former Sunderland midfielder Liam Lawrence joined last week on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
Chris O'Grady scored his first goals since mid-October in Saturday's 2-0 home win against Blackpool - the Reds' first win in seven league matches.
"That's Chris all over for you," said Wilson after seeing O'Grady follow up a penalty on the stroke of half-time with a fine header three minutes after the restart.
"He's a terrific pro. When you see him train week in, week out - you wonder how he's not scoring. They go through lean patches strikers.
"We'll hopefully do some business next week that will hopefully help Chris."
Wilson, whose side remain bottom of the table as relegation rivals Yeovil and Doncaster both won, is also running the rule over former Sheffield United defender Lecsinel Jean-Francois, who has teamed back up with the former Blades boss while on trial at Oakwell.
