"Assuming Everton finish in the top four"....surely an assumption is something that is likely to happen. Everton are not even in the top 4 now

If Moyes wins a trophy/gets 4th he will leave with our best wishes If Moyes doesn't win anything then he will leave with our best wishes. If Moyes wins a trophy and stays then everyone will be happy If Moyes doesn't win anything and stays.....thats when things start getting interesting. A lot of people feel that 11 years is plenty of time to win something, and a lot of people wouldn't mind an away win at Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool (2 of them aren't what they were but we've instead of adapting positively we've countered that by no longer winning at City or Spurs either). Win a cup, beat any of the top 6 away from home or in a semi when it matters - these are the things we want to be doing and after 11 years there aren't many people left who believe that Moyes is the man to achieve it. But hes 'ambitious' so its Everton's fault. Our best course of action is to hope we don't do too well in case the messiah leaves. Give me a break.

I was at the Blackburn game and I thought we played badly; lazily, sloppily and disinterestedly. Blackburn having one chance and taking it isn't bad luck, it's bad play, which added to bad attitude, laziness, lack of application and seemingly an absence of care in what was our only realistic chance of a trophy this season is scandalously negligent

Arsenal lost to Blackburn, so bloody what? Any body that saw that match would know that Arsenal did not really play that badly. Blackburn had a single chance that they were lucky enough to utilize, it happens in football.
