adly this is inevitable. No club outside the top 4/5 can hang on to anyone who shows that kind of talent anymore. Might be best for them to get as much as they can now while his stock is high and start again. On the plus side lads, Grant Holt is still available.

Arsenal could (and most probably would) drop points in at least 4 out of the 6 so called 'easy' games. They won't win against Swansea or West Brom away while Everton is always a difficult game and Fulham at Craven Cottage are no push overs. The poor man's Modric makes the gooners tick and he's out for a month. It's not looking good for them.

@ wheresmyhair77, caerleonjack it is good to talk Arsenal up by calling games like Swansea winnable. That way, when they lose, it is so much better for everyone but gooners and Arsene!

@caerleonjack I completely agree mate. Swans have had a cracking season and as throw away comments go, that was a dumb one that a second of research into this years league would've set strait. Or it's part of next weeks stick to beat Arsene with.

"we set ourselves the little task of trying to win as many games as we could in the last 10", task? Isn't that actually, you know, what you are paid for Stu? And as Caerleonjack has said, why is Swansea winnable? They are team in good form, just lifted a trophy, stung by a bad decision last time out against a team that could either be decent or shocking depending on the cereal in the hotel that morning.

I'd be interested to know why Swansea away is a 'winnable' game for Arsenal. We've only lost twice at home all season - to Everton and Norwich who are both 'bogey' sides for us. Arsenal haven't beaten us at the Liberty yet, and are coming off the back of a tiring mid-week game. And that's not even considering the mental state of the players - yes they've just beaten Bayern away, but they went out on away goals and you'd imagine that a fair few of them are feeling pretty crushed. I find it funny that regardless of how well we perform, and our league position, we're still being seen as a team that can be easily rolled over. I'd be very surprised if Arsenal have anywhere near an 'easy' game on Saturday, and I think after the injustice of the West Brom game last week they'll be coming up against a very fired up Swansea side.

"We set ourselves the little task of trying to win as many games as we could in the last 10" - wow, this crazy new approach from Liverpool might just make the difference at the end of the season. Try to win as many games as possible. It's so simple!

By saying fourth is a trophy Arsenal simply have more targets to fail to achieve (apart from Chelsea who could miss out on 7). Has a team ever had more to miss out on?
