An Audition To Become Part Of Furniture

Ryan Giggs may not be the next United manager, but he gets the chance to prove that he should be the one after that. Plus, the next hurdle in Liverpool's sprint for the line.

Well we did it with Dalglish, glittering player career, glittering manager career. So it is perfectly plausible Giggs could do it, highly unlikely though as those days have long gone for football, but we could potentially, hopefully go from 7th last year to hopefully title winners this year so if we can do that, then sure Giggs could go on and become a legendary United manager.

Can anyone imagine if Giggs, having won 13 league titles and 2 Champions Leagues during his playing career, went on to lead us to success from the bench? Long shot, I accept, but my word, even Charlton and Best never did that. We may as well rename ourselves Giggs FC. *joke*

Not a big fan of Man Utd but would love it if Giggs subbed himself on, scoerd then told off his players!

Also, he'll be wearing a suit when he walks out tomorrow, no doubt about it. If United are 2 up at half time, expect him to arrive out in his tracksuit, score his customary goal (does an OG count?) and then ride off into the sunset.

So now that United's one night stand with the "nice girl" is over (she did have to be kicked out of the house cos she just wouldn't leave) the real search begins. I think Giggs is probably going to get the job cos he's probably going to do really well in the next 4 games. And then, he's probably going to be great because that's just the way he is. He's seen how the old gaffer used to delegate and here is a man that will listen to Fergie. He should also bring back Rene.

Beat Chelsea, point at Palace and then have a home against Newcastle to win the title, they would have settled for that. Funny how Giggs can stake his claim for the manager's job in four games but people were against Moyes because he hadn't won anything at Everton. I'll be interested to see what kind of effort the Man Utd players put in.

@carrick4f*ksake, you dont half talk a load of rubbish what the hell does one thing that happened in his personal life have to do with how good of a coach he is, i would rather have giggs who loves the club and would give his all rather than keane who takes every opportunity he can to criticise the club

Every time I see Gary Cahill I'm reminded of how we sold him to Bolton for a packet of crisps, then spent several billion pounds on a load of s*** to replace him

BUT WHAT WILL GIGGS BE WEARING IN THE DUGOUT?!

I can't help but think that if United were to keep Giggs on permanently, despite his experience and love for the club, he'd have a tough time defending himself if games aren't won with people throwing around comments such as "should have got an experienced manager in the first place". Another year could potentially be wasted and he'd have to take some, if not all, of the responsibility for taking on the job in the first place. Instead, he could just retire as a legend for the club and help behind the scenes and gain more experience for that potential future managerial role.

e made his power play to try and get Sheikhy to raise his wages or trade him to PSG. PSG were probably not interested and he is stuck with no cake and no vacation. @Jay_D> Surely you jest about FFP being real, right? All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
