The Blues academy product, who made his first-team breakthrough under manager Lee Clark this season, has committed himself to the Blues until June 2016.

The 19-year-old left-back made his first-team debut in October 2012 as a late substitute against Huddersfield and went on to make 20 appearances for Birmingham this season.

Hancox missed the Blues' final game due to a broken bone in his hand, but is expected to return to full fitness in time for pre-season training in late June.
