With his contract due to expire at the end of this month, the USA Under-20 international has opted to extend his stay with the Blues and will also have the option of a further year.

Packwood arrived at St Andrews in 2007 as a 14-year-old and has since forced his way into the first-team squad while spending a short spell on loan at Bristol Rovers last season, making eight appearances.
