Blackburn cancel duo's deals

Blackburn have terminated the contract of midfielders Amine Linganzi and Simon Vukcevic by mutual agreement.

Linganzi, 23, joined Rovers from Saint-Etienne in January 2010, making his debut against Aston Villa in May that year.

But he played only three more times for the Ewood Park outfit, with his last appearance coming in the January 2011 FA Cup victory over QPR before he joined Preston on loan for a solitary league start.

Attacking midfielder Vukcevic has also left the Championship club with immediate effect.

The 27-year-old Montenegro international moved from Sporting Lisbon in August 2011 and made 21 appearances for Rovers.
