Tor Ole Skullerud's side are in the same group as England U21s, who they meet in Petah Tikva on Saturday, 8 June.

Midfielder Markus Henriksen will not be heading to Israel as he is needed by the seniors for their World Cup qualifier away to Albania, and also a subsequent friendly against Macedonia.

In addition, King and his team-mates Valon Berisha and Havard Nordtveit will miss the Under-21s' opening game against the host nation as they will also be needed for senior duty in Tirana. They will be back in the squad for the clash against Stuart Pearce's young Lions.

Nordtveit is a former Arsenal youngster, while his fellow midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim has spent 2013 on a second loan spell at Stromsgodset from Manchester City.

Defender Omar Elabdellaoui left City for Eintracht Braunschweig in January, while attacking midfielder Magnus Eikrem was previously on the books of Manchester United.
