The 25-year-old left-back, who has made just one appearance for the Seasiders this season, has been brought to New York Stadium to cover the injured Laurie Wilson's absence.

Glasgow-born Harris joined the Seasiders in the summer of 2011 after four years at Clyde, but has failed to earn regular football and has made 11 appearances.

He is expected to go straight into the squad to face Oxford on Saturday.
