The former England midfielder has been accused of "calling into question the integrity of the match referee and/or implying that the match referee was motivated by bias; and/or brought the game into disrepute."

Ince described the defeat as "daylight robbery" among other post-match remarks.

He was speaking after a clash marred by fans flooding onto the Deepdale pitch at the final whistle, while a steward had to be taken to hospital after being trampled on by a police horse.

Tom Ince was handed a two-game suspension after making an offensive gesture to a match official during the Preston defeat. He will miss Blackpool's clash against Barnsley on Saturday and the subsequent trip to Middlesbrough.
