Blackpool came into the match on a run of two defeats from their last three at home in the Championship but they did miss chances - Kirk Broadfoot should have done better with his first-half header while Ince fired just wide soon after his equaliser.

And assistant Rae was full of praise for Ince while admitting that the Seasiders squad is set for a major shake-up in January.

"We told them to be patient and tried to switch the play plenty, which is where we got plenty of joy," said Rae.

"Ince has come up with a great goal. He took plenty of stick from the Leeds fans and he showed good temperament to ignore it and make a decisive contribution.

"There's not been a drop of confidence with recent results and I think that was evident. We've got a good home record and we always feel strong and confident at home.

"We've got a few loan deals that will expire in the next week or so and that will change our squad a fair bit so we'll look to bring some players in and set ourselves up for the New Year.

"It was important that we stopped the run we were on and I was pleased with our response to going a goal down."

still can't see the Phil Jones thing that some people go on about. Whenever I watch him play it's a repeat of headless chicken meets a gurning Bambi on ice for 90 minutes.

P

robably the first list I've come across in a long time where I agree with a large majority of what was written. Can't agree with everything though, Zaba has had an awful season by his standards, I'd put Monreal (a player who I've never rated) up there, gotta give credit where it's due, he's really stepped up his game.
