The 22-year-old Greece star arrived at the Toffees in 2008 from Iraklis, where he had progressed through the youth system.

He last featured for Everton in a 0-0 draw with Swansea in January 2013, his 24th appearance for the club, 22 as substitute, scoring three times.

Vellios looks likely to be on his way out of Everton when his contract expires at the end of the season but he is set to make his Blackpool debut when they face QPR on Saturday.

Three youngsters John Lundstram, 20, Matthew Pennington, 19, and Hallam Hope, 20, meanwhile, have also joined Football League clubs Leyton Orient (one-month loan), Tranmere and Bury respectively (both until end of season).

enteke is an absolute steal for £32.5m, he would get into any team in the world (except Barcelona) at the moment. I've seen many very good strikers in my 30+ years as a Villa fan. This guy is the best without question.
