The Tangerines now have just eight first-team players following Tom Ince's move to Premier League side Hull City, but Oyston says manager Jose Riga is in the process of rebuilding the side.

Oyston told the club's official website: "There's a lot of work going on behind the scenes, even though we aren't broadcasting it.

"We have made, and are making, formal offers to clubs and players as we speak.

"We are now trying to get these players over to the UK to finalise things, have a medical and sign contracts.

"We really are trying to kill or cure as many deals as we can to get the right players into the club. We are doing all we can to get the deals the manager wants across the line on terms which don't kill the club going forward."

Hi ,i am really sad to here of a team like Blackpool stuggling to get a team ready for 2014/15 season, but i am a manager of a west wales team that has a few players that could join for free immeadiately, and be ready for the forthcoming season,I have a left back, Centre back , centre mid,who had trials with a team in La Liga, and an amazing striker ,there is an abundance of talent available and its being missed by lack of scouts in this area,
