The England Under-21 international has already spent one month on loan at the Reebok Stadium, featuring in four games.

Norwich have now confirmed that they have agreed to the deal being extended by a further month, taking it to January 5th.

Norwich have included a 24-hour recall option in the deal for the 22-year-old - who has featured twice for them in the Capital One Cup this term.

Butterfield joined Norwich from Barnsley in the summer.
