The 21-year-old has bagged six goals in 10 appearances for the Shrews, including a hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Crawley and a brace in a 3-2 triumph at MK Dons, to help move the Shropshire club six points clear of the drop zone in League One.

He joined Town on an initial month-long deal at the end of February, which was later extended until the end of the season with the inclusion of a 24-recall clause.

And Trotters boss Dougie Freedman has on Monday opted to activate that clause with his side embroiled a battle for a play-off spot in the Championship.

Eaves is yet to make his first-team debut for Wanderers.

ood lord that's got me unnecessarily excited. Damn you Storey. Cut to Liverpool being crushed under the wheels of Sparky's Stoke Machine and Firmino brought off the bench to no effect. It's the hope that kills you.

think he'll do quite well. My only reservation would be Kagawa, who had similar stats to Firmino in the bundesliga before he came, but time will tell.
