The 29-year-old, who had been without a club following his release from Millwall, will provide cover for Andy Lonergan following an injury to Wanderers' first-choice keeper Adam Bogdan.

Trotters manager Dougie Freedman told the club's official website: "Arran will come in as cover. He knows he's going to be on the bench but is willing to provide competition on the training ground."
