Lee has been strongly linked with Hull City, whilst Knight was reportedly being lined up by Major League Soccer outfit Philadelphia Union.

But Bolton boss Dougie Freedman insists he knows nothing of bids for Korean midfielder Lee or Knight.

"I have seen the paper talk about Chungy but we have never had one enquiry - not one phone call," Dougie Freedman told the Bolton Evening News.

"It's the same with Zat Knight. He has never approached me and said he wants to play in the MLS; in fact, I think he wants to continue playing in England and do his coaching badges."
