Wayne Bridge: Has a calf problem

The on-loan Manchester City full-back had to come off with a calf problem during the first half of the eventful 3-3 draw.

Manager Gus Poyet also confirmed in-form winger Will Buckley started among the substitutes in order to give him a rest.

Buckley, who had a spell out with a hamstring injury earlier this season, came off the bench to score Brighton's second goal.

"There are too many players who have played a lot and we have a very good squad of players, so we should not risk players," said Poyet.

"The last time we pushed Will to the limit he got injured. Instead, he came on during the second half when the game was perfect for him."
