Swansea are willing to let Agustien leave the Liberty Stadium this summer as he does not figure in Michael Laudrup's long-term plans.

The 26-year-old, who has one year left on his contract, was left out of the club's pre-season tour of Holland and is set to find himself well down the pecking order this season following the arrivals of Jonjo Shelvey and Jose Canas this summer.

Brighton boss Oscar Garcia is keen to add to his midfield options and he is thought to be an admirer of Dutchman Agustien.

Agustien is believed to have held talks with Garcia earlier this week and he is hopeful of agreeing a deal to bring the former Birmingham City man to the Amex Stadium.
