The big striker had to be substituted just 16 minutes into the match with his arm in a makeshift sling, and x-rays later confirmed the worst possible news.
Boss Sean O'Driscoll said: "It's a fractured collarbone and that means at least six weeks out for Ryan.
"The x-ray has revealed the break and it just depends how serious the specialists believe it is. It may need a plate to fix it, which could mean his season is over.
"But whatever happens, we're going to be without him for a while, so we may need to look at bringing somebody in up top."
