Neal Ardley: Believes Ajala has a bright future in the game

The 21-year-old winger made the 13th and final appearance of his three-month stint at Kingsmeadow in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw against Northampton.

"As happens with most youngsters, Toby started well with us and then had a bit of a dip in form," said Dons manager Neal Ardley.

"But he came on strong again and I thought he was excellent again for us (against Northampton).

"He had a sore throat and was struggling a bit during the game, but the commitment that the boy has shown for us will only stand him in good stead for his future in the game."

The player himself wrote on Twitter: "Thanks to all the Wimbledon fans. Ya'll been brilliant to me. All the best. Good fans."
