Defender Bryan, who has made 11 Championship starts this season, has joined npower League Two strugglers Plymouth until the end of the Pilgrims' campaign, and duly made his full debut in Tuesday night's goalless draw against Bradford.

Forward Burns, who has made five appearances this season, has headed to Blue Square Premier promotion hopefuls Forest Green for a month and made an immediate impact himself, netting a 92nd-minute winner to help record a 2-1 win at Southport on Tuesday.

Burns will return on April 8 while Bryan will come back after Argyle's season is over, in time for City's final match of the season away at Charlton.
