City know that anything less than victory over Birmingham on Tuesday night will end their six-year stay in the Championship, but O'Driscoll said his players, many out of contract at the end of the season, can impress potential employees in the coming weeks.
"I've told them a lot of people will be watching them, not just from this club, but from other clubs as well," he told the Bristol Evening Post.
"There will be lots of scouts at our games now and they will all be looking for a good attitude.
"There is an opportunity for all the players to come out of it with their reputations enhanced, even if the team loses.
"They all did that on Saturday, (in the 2-1 loss to Bolton) even though they lose, and they need to focus on that."
Meanwhile, City have confirmed that youngster Wes Burns has been recalled from his loan spell at Forest Green after making six Blue Square Premier appearances.
