Dyche faith in Austin attitude

Sean Dyche believes Charlie Austin is gracious enough to appreciate the role of his Burnley team-mates in his phenomenal scoring run.

When Dyche arrived to succeed Eddie Howe as Clarets' manager last week he inherited a striker in the richest vein of form.

And Austin has continued his remarkable hot streak with goals in each of the back-to-back wins over Wolves and Leeds that gave Dyche the perfect start to his tenure - numbers 19 and 20 of a personal tally that is unsurpassed elsewhere in Europe.

"Goalscorers are always important, but Charlie's a good young man and he knows the team have given him many of those chances," said Dyche. "No one is bigger than the team, that's for sure."

Speculation has started to swirl around Austin's future in the upcoming January transfer window and Dyche - who lost star striker Marvin Sordell last winter when managing Watford - accepts the inevitability of such talk.

"We've never even spoken about it - it's more about what we can do with what we've got and how we build that forwards. Things like that are out of our control. Last year we sold Marvin Sordell. Now this club has a different financial climate, but there's still that reality."

ark clattenburg is one of those referees that tends to get stick from both sides cos he likes to let the game flow and is quite lenient, and people only remember the fouls against their own team that go unpunished whilst not noticing the ones they've gotten away with. To pick up 4 yellow cards with clattenburg in charge speaks volumes about your approach to the game mr pellegrini.

astly under-rated goal keeper. Barcelona could have gone out and bought a keeper at any point they liked, but they stuck with him for a reason.
