Sean Dyche will be hoping his men can repeat last season's result, also an opening day fixture for the season, when the Clarets came out on top thanks to goals from Martin Paterson and top-scorer Charlie Austin.

The clash will take place at Turf Moor, one of only three grounds used in the inaugural 1888/89 league season that is still in use today. The two clubs have met each other in league football on 114 occasions.

The Football League fixtures for the remainder of the season will be announced on Wednesday morning at 9am.
