The Clarets then travel to Hillsborough for their first away tie to face Sheffield Wednesday before hosting newly promoted Yeovil the following week.

They then host local rivals Blackburn on September 14 after the first international break of the season.

The Christmas period sees them travel to Middlesbrough on Boxing Day before a trip to FA Cup holders Wigan just two days later.

Sean Dyche's side will face Huddersfield at Turf Moor on New Year's Day while the return derby clash with Blackburn takes place at Ewood Park on March 8.

Burnley's final home game is against Ipswich before they end the season with a trip to Reading.
