The 23-year-old defender moves to Boundary Park with immediate effect and could make his debut for the Latics in their away game at Peterborough.

Mills has yet to feature for the Clarets this season - and manager Sean Dyche insists the short-term loan is all about getting the defender valuable game time.

Dyche told the club's official website: "We feel that Joe needs some games. Danny Lafferty is in control of the shirt at the minute and with Ben Mee coming back it gives us another option."

stark contrast to Neymar's treatment at Barca his first year. He was brushed off to the flank and told to stay there. I thought it was a bit harsh from Martino to margianalize Neymar like that, but good grief, it's better than woshipping him like his national team does.
