The striker has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs after a stunning season in the Championship, when he was the leading scorer for Sean Dyche's side with 21 league goals.

However, the 21-year-old is paying no attention to the transfer talk and is staying focused on playing in the top flight for Burnley next season.

Questioned on how he would handle the rumours, Ings said in the Lancashire Telegraph: "I don't need to handle it. I'm just enjoying my football. I've still got a year left on my contract and I'm a player for Burnley Football Club.

"I love it here so I'm just going to concentrate on that.

"It's a family club and a great club to play for. It's a fantastic club. And I'm so proud of the lads and how well they've done this season.

"I live quite locally so I see a lot of fans and they show their appreciation for the whole team, not just me, and it's a great feeling to be a part of that. There are no egos at this club. Everyone's in it together, it's like one big family."

Ings is relishing the prospect of plying his trade in the Premier League after three years with Burnley in the Championship, having started his career at Bournemouth.

"It's the best league in the world," he said. "I'm really looking forward to it.

"It's every lad's dream to play there and that first game is going to be unbelievable.

"It's going to be a great feeling and I'm going to enjoy every moment of it."

think Liverpool should start trying alternative therapy now, given that Sturridge's hips and knees are apparently unfathomable to modern medicine. Voodoo, acupuncture, healing oils, rolling in the snow after a hot bath, its all got to be worth a go now.
