The 21-year-old striker has attracted speculation about a summer move after his 26 goals helped Burnley secure promotion to the Premier League.

Southampton, Everton and Newcastle have been linked with the England U21 international, while German sides Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen are also believed to be interested.

But Ings is in no rush to decide his future and remains fully committed to the Clarets.

"I don't understand why it has gone crazy on social media and the like,” he told Burnley’s website.

"I signed a four-year contract when I came here and obviously I still have a year left. I don't feel there should be any panic. I am just enjoying my football and going into my last year of my contract.

"As far as I am concerned, Burnley football club and the Premier League is where I am, 100 per cent. Everybody knows I enjoy playing for Burnley football club. It's a fantastic family club and I am not looking to leave."

Ings is currently preparing for the new season at a training camp in Austria and is confident the club can compete in the top flight.

"We were such a fit squad anyway but to come back this year as we have shows that the lads really want to have a right go and mix it with the best players in the world,” he said.

"One thing I know is we will work as hard as we can from start to finish and just try our best against the top teams, and hopefully we can surprise a few people.

"And the way the lads look, and how hungry they look, I think we will do that."
