Neal Ardley: Double signing

Dons manager Neal Ardley reacted to Toby Ajala's return to parent club Bristol City by loaning in the duo on initial one-month loans.

Ardley believes that the pair, both 19 years old, will give his side greater quality in the final third.

"Brennan is direct and can play on the wing, which is what we need with Toby Ajala having left," Ardley told the club website.

"Jesse is very quick, has good movement and he works incredibly hard along the front line.

"Importantly, he understands what I want the team to do and how I like us to press, so I do not think it will take him long to fit in."

Both players will be eligible for Saturday's fixture against John Still's Dagenham in League Two.

adly this is inevitable. No club outside the top 4/5 can hang on to anyone who shows that kind of talent anymore. Might be best for them to get as much as they can now while his stock is high and start again. On the plus side lads, Grant Holt is still available.
