McPhail: Set to return

Goalkeeper Tom Heaton, defender Mark Hudson and midfielder Stephen McPhail are all winning their battles to be fit for the Wembley showdown.

Heaton has missed The Bluebirds' last three matches with an ankle injury but returned to training earlier this week.

Former Leeds midfielder McPhail has been struggling to shrug off an illness and Hudson was sidelined with a calf strain but looks set to return City's back line.

The returning trio will be warmly welcomed by manager Malky Mackay, whose side have only recorded one league win in five outings since reaching the final last month.
