Neil Lennon: Celtic boss a happy man after 4-0 rout of Dundee United

Celtic moved 12 points clear at the top of the SPL table after dominating from almost the first kick at Parkhead, striker Gary Hooper scoring twice after the club turned down a second approach from Norwich.

Victor Wanyama and substitute Scott Brown were also on target for the Hoops who, put a smile on Lennon's face with the fluidity of some of their football after almost falling behind early on.

"I thought going forward we were breathtaking at times," said Lennon after a series of question about Hooper's future.

"We should have been a goal down but I am not too sure it would have changed the mentality of the team tonight.

"There was a real intensity and ruthlessness about us, I'm not sure what the stats were but I think we had more than 20-odd attempts on goal."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!
