Wilson taking nothing lightly

Kelvin Wilson believes Celtic's League Cup semi-final against St Mirren at Hampden on Sunday will not necessarily be the expected walkover.

Kelvin Wilson: Knows they will have to work hard to get through to the final

The Englishman's only appearances at the national stadium to date resulted in a 1-0 defeat to Kilmarnock in the final of the Scottish Communities League Cup final and a 2-1 loss to Hearts in the semi-final of the William Hill Scottish Cup.

Despite Celtic being odds-on favourites to reach the March final, the Hoops defender, back from a two-match suspension, remembers his previous Hampden disappointments.

He said: "That's what you have got to keep in the back of your mind, just because you are favourites doesn't mean you are automatically going to go through so you have to be concentrated and treat it like any other game.

"It won't just happen, you've got to make it happen and I think the boys will know that."
