The Hoops extended their lead last night despite drawing 1-1 at St Johnstone, as Motherwell lost at home to Dundee United.

But Stokes, who recently returned from an ankle injury, will remain fired up for the visit of managerless Dundee on Sunday.

The Irishman told the Celtic View: "It doesn't matter how many points clear we are. It wouldn't make difference as we're expected to win every game, and we want to win every game - the fans expect it.

"Irrespective of how far we go clear, the next game is the most important one - the gaffer always says that, and that's how we will treat them from now to the end of the season.

"It was nice to win the league last year, especially with the way we lost it the previous year.

"We want to win as many trophies as possible. Europe has also gone very well this year. It was a bit disappointing last week against Juventus but we have to move on from that and concentrate domestically."
