The Australian started his third game for the Hoops in the 3-1 defeat at Motherwell, making it his sixth appearance since arriving at the club in January.

The 20-year-old moved to Glasgow from Central Coast Mariners on a four-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee but has found first-team opportunities limited.

With the title wrapped up, Rogic is hoping to feature more often between now and the end of the season and told the Celtic View: "It's always good to get a game - not so much when we lose but I'll never complain about being out on the park.

"I thought I did okay but it's hard to think you did okay when you lose.

"It was disappointing and I'm just hoping we can pick up from this and turn things around. The fans have still to see the best of me and there's a lot more to come.

"It's hard when you're coming in and out of the squad trying to make an impact but I'm determined to do my best.

"I was a bit disappointed with the result but hopefully I will manage to play some more games before the end of the season. Some of the players are getting a well-deserved rest and that gives me and some of the other boys an opportunity to get into the team so hopefully I take it.

"I'm pushing myself in training because I'm hoping for some more game-time to show what I can do. For me and for a few other players this could be a big chance for us now the league has been wrapped up."

On Sunday's trip to Ross County, he added: "That will be another tough match. They're still going for a place in Europe so they have a lot to play for.

"We want to go there for the three points though, so hopefully we do it and I get another chance to play."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
