The Hoops travel to the Highlands looking to stretch their unbeaten league run to 21 games, against third-placed Caley Thistle.

Adam Matthews returned from a fever to start against St Johnstone on Thusrday but was replaced early in the second-half by winger James Forrest who continued his recovery from a recent thigh strain.

Despite the absence of Charlie Mulgrew, Dirk Boerrigter, Mikael Lustig, Beram Kayal and Steven Mouyokolo, the Celtic manager has been delighted with his team's consistency.

Lennon said: "We have tried to balance the squad because we have two really hard away games back-to-back.

"Particularly Adam and James. Adam is still recovering from the virus and he was a bit heavy-legged in the second-half but I think he'll be in contention for Sunday.

"James will be in contention for a start and I don't think we have any fresh injuries which is a good thing.

"The squad is a bit thin. We have six or seven out at the moment. But the players who have been the bulk of the side have been great, we're unbeaten and I can't ask any more."

h Daniel. I could spend hours on this subject putting the world to rights. You can even take a step back and ask why football fans (and society in general) have this need to know that something will happen before it actually does. There are times this important, when it comes to things like war, food production and natural disasters. A man you've never met changing his job? Not so much.

reat article. Hits the nail on the head. Encapsulates why I don't read tabloid newspapers anymore. The only thing worse is the 'told you so first' headline when they get lucky.
